Im Alltäglichen ist der Clown derjenige, der stets dabei scheitert, alles „richtig“ zu machen und es dennoch immer wieder versucht. Der Clown ist verletzlich, unschuldig und offen für alles was geschieht. Mit Chaos und Kreativität fordert er in festgefahrenen Situationen die kontrollierte Persönlichkeit in uns heraus. Er ist der Spontane und Offene, der keine Pläne hat und alles genießt, was ihm auf seinem Weg begegnet. Emotionales Körpertheater, Authentizität und Spielfreude stehen im Mittelpunkt. Spielmaterial ist alles, was der Körper zu bieten hat: die Sinne, die Atmung, die Glieder, die Stimme, die Gefühle etc. Das Interessante besteht darin, diese Komponenten einzeln zu betrachten und in ungewohnter Art neu zusammenzusetzen. Mit den Augen eines Clowns gesehen, verändert sich die Wahrnehmung der Wirklichkeit. Mit seiner Komik, Körperlichkeit und Emotionalität kann er im Alltag mit tragikomischen Situationen spielen und humorvoll mit Krisen umgehen.

Die meisten Programmiersprachen sind total mit Funktionalität überladen. Zu viele Features, die man kennen muss, mehrere arkane Wege, ein Problem zu lösen, was andere Entwickler verwirrt, die genau diese Eigenheit der Sprache nicht kennen. Ändert sich eine Anforderung, muss man im schlimmsten Fall die ganze hierarchische Klassenstruktur wegwerfen und von vorne anfangen. Enterprise-Softwarepäpste haben immer-wiederkehrende Muster in dieser Komplexität erkannt und ihnen Namen gegeben: Patterns. Entwurfsmuster. So denkt jeder gleich über ein Problem nach, alle haben ein Fachsprech, das Uneingeweihte nicht verstehen.
Bis auf Prahlerei, die die Bachelorstudis ablassen, wenn sie diese Patterns runterbeten können, hat das wenig dazu beigetragen, dass ein Programm simpel und verständlich ist.
