Eros ist die Liebe Gottes, die in der Welt ständig auf der Suche ist nach einer neuen, harmonischeren Synthese aller Erfahrungen und Wahrnehmungen, aus denen das Universum besteht. Auf der menschlichen Ebene sucht Eros vor allem nach einem besseren gegenseitigen Verstehen und liebevolleren Gemeinschaftsformen. Eros ist die zentrale Triebfeder für das Motivationssystem jedes einzelnen. Es ist der göttliche Funken in unserem Inneren. Ihm kann und sollte vertraut werden. Eros weiß, was wir insgeheim möchten und wessen wir besonders bedürfen. Leider liegt den Kindererziehungspraktiken und pädagogischen Methoden unserer Gesellschaft ein tiefes Misstrauen gegenüber dem Eros der Kinder zugrunde. Wir möchten, dass die Kinder nicht mehr aus ihrem ureigenen Antrieb heraus handeln. Wir möchten, dass sie gerade die Tätigkeiten und Beziehungen, die sie am tiefsten berühren, die ihnen die meiste Erregung verschaffen und die sie am innigsten wünschen, nicht mehr fortsetzen. Wir möchten, dass Kinder alles preisgeben, was aus ihrer Sicht einzigartig ist. Sie sollten unkritisch die Ansichten, Vorlieben, Abneigungen, Vorurteile und Rachegelüste ihrer Gesellschaft teilen.
Diese Angriffe, die darauf zielen, den Eros der Kinder zu unterdrücken und sie ihren ureigenen Antrieben, Gefühlen und Sichtweisen zu entfremden, wurden manchmal als „Das Kind zähmen/brechen“ (Breaking the child) bezeichnet. Die grausamen und gewalttätigen Methoden, die oft angewendet werden, um Pferde zu zähmen, stellen in der Tat einen geeigneten Metapher dar für einige dieser unerhörten Kindererziehungsmethoden. Wenn es nicht durch Schläge und Erniedrigungen erreicht werden kann, das Kind zu brechen, muss es mit List und Tücke versucht werden.
In letzter Zeit wird die zum Funktionieren der Schulen notwendige Unterdrückung mit Medikamenten erreicht. Wir geben Ritalin, weil wir sie nicht mehr schlagen dürfen. Natürlich geschieht dies alles im Namen und zum Wohle des Kindes. Oft wird es „Therapie“ genannt. Aber in Wirklichkeit schädigt die Unterdrückung des Eros die emotionale Gesundheit des einzelnen und der Gesellschaft zutiefst.
Das zentrale Triebreservoir menschlichen Wesens ist nicht – wie Freud es in seinem Konzept als „ES“ skizziert hat – ein antisoziales Monster mit niedrigsten Vergnügungstrieben, das die sozialen Gefüge zerstört, sobald es dies vermag. Dieses Negativbild von dem, was menschliche Wesen in Innersten wollen, muss korrigiert werden, denn es dient als Rechtfertigung für all die lebensfeindlichen pädagogischen Methoden, denen Kinder regelmäßig ausgesetzt werden. Wenn der kräftige Lebenswille in Kindern gelegentlich Freuds ES ähnlich ist, dann deswegen, weil dieser Wille durch Repressionen und Ängste verdreht und unkenntlich gemacht wurde.
Kinder müssen nicht gezähmt/gebrochen werden. Von Geburt an suchen Kinder liebevolle, erfüllte Beziehungen. Kinder sind von Natur aus soziale Wesen. Sie möchten Erwachsenen gefallen, und denjenigen nacheifern, die sie bewundern. Mehr als alles andere möchten sie dazugehören. Kinder sind von Natur aus neugierig. Sie sind voller Fragen – sie möchten alles wissen. Sie müssen nicht gezähmt/gebrochen werden, um sozialisiert oder lernbereit zu werden. Kinder zu brechen führt im Gegenteil zu antisozialen Impulsen und zerstört die natürliche Neugierde, die Treibfeder für das Lernen sein könnte. Eine Gesellschaftsstruktur, für die es nötig ist, Kinder zu brechen/zähmen, um fortzubestehen, ist nicht erhaltenswert. Selbst Pferde müssen nicht gebrochen werden.
Sex ist nur eine der vielen Formen, die Eros annimmt. Wie dem auch sei, Sex hat in unserer Gesellschaft eine besondere Rolle, denn die heftigsten Angriffe auf den kindlichen Eros zielen in der Regel auf seine körperlichen Äußerungen und Wünsche. Der Mythos vom unschuldigen, asexuellen Kind wird benützt, um Kinder ihren eigenen sexuellen Gefühlen und Wünschen zu entfremden. Alles und jedes von Seiten des Kindes, das diesen Mythos anrührt, gibt Anlass zu Besorgnis und wird mit Strafe belegt. Kindern wird nur widerstrebend erlaubt zu masturbieren, sie dürfen selten nackt herumlaufen, und sie werden bloßgestellt, wenn sie zu viel Interesse für den Körper des anderen zeigen, werden gedemütigt, wenn ihre sexuellen Interessen sich auf Personen gleichen Geschlechts richten, und werden verbal und teils auch physisch gezüchtigt, wenn sie sich in sexuelle Spiele mit anderen Kindern einlassen. Und sollte ein Kind die schrecklichste aller möglichen Manifestationen des Eros zeigen – das wäre sexuelles Interesse an einem Erwachsenen – so wird dies als Beweis dafür gesehen, das es missbraucht worden ist. Der Endeffekt davon ist, dass Kinder lernen, den eigenen Körper als Ort gefährlicher, schändlicher und schmutziger Treibe zu erleben. Dieses ist der normale Weg der Kindererziehung in unserer Gesellschaft. So machen es gute Eltern und Lehrer.
Wenn der natürliche Eros der Kinder durch ihre Sorgeberechtigten zerstört wird, geraten sie in eine innere Wut. Die erotischen Impulse wollen nicht verschwinden, obwohl es verboten ist, ihnen Ausdruck zu verleihen. Diese Impulse schwären außerhalb der Skala verbalen Bewußtseins und bersten dann mit einem durch Repression erzeugten Druck hervor. Schließlich brechen diese vereinten Energien durch, als Metapher sexueller Aggression: Die Gang, die schlagende Verbindung, das Schwert, die Kanone, das laute und PS-starke Flugzeug oder Auto, die Rakete oder die Bombe. Diese Aggression muss umgeleitet werden, sie muss weg von den Eltern, Lehrern und Sorgeberechtigten gerichtet werden, die für die Repression verantwortlich sind. Es ist zu schwierig, ohne Billigung und Unterstützung der Menschen zu leben, die man liebt. Und erst recht möchte man sie nicht zerstören. So wird die sexuelle Aggression auf Feinde umgeleitet. Jede Gruppierung, jede Minderheit, kann als untermenschlich oder minderwertig angesehen werden und als willkommener Sündenbock herhalten. Die Unterdrückung des Eros der Kinder führt im Endeffekt dazu, gewalttätige, innerlich leere Bürger heranszubilden, die ihren wahren Bedürfnissen entfremdet sind und die gerne bereit sind, verschiedene Arten von Feinden zu verfolgen und sogar zu töten. Eine Gesellschaft, die auf der Unterdrückung des Eros basiert, benötigt Feindbilder.
Wir müssen den Ursprung der Gewalt nicht in der außergewöhnlichen oder abnormalen Anteilen dieser Gesellschaft suchen. Vielmehr wird Gewalt gesät, unterhalten und gefördert durch die normalen, landläufig akzeptierten Praktiken, mit denen wir Kinder erziehen und miteinander umgehen.
Natürlich erlaubt eine jede Gesellschaft nur extrem ungern eine ernsthafte Hinterfragung ihrer fundamentalen Annahmen über das rechte Leben. Aber genau das ist notwendig, wenn wir weniger gewalttätig werden sollen. Vor allem müssen wir die tief verwurzelte Annahme korrigieren, dass zivilisiertes Leben Unterdrückung benötigt. Wir müssen uns mit unserer Furcht vor dem Eros beschäftigen und all den harmvollen Erziehungspraktiken und pädagogischen Methoden, die auf dieser Furcht beruhen.

„Highly sensitive persons“ sind Menschen, die besonders sensibel auf ihre Umwelt reagieren. Diese besondere Empfindsamkeit war lange eine hoch geschätzte Eigenschaft, heute jedoch haben diese Personen es oft schwer in der Gesellschaft, da sie einen besonderen Temperamentstypus haben: Sie verarbeiten Informationen tiefer, nehmen unterschwellige Reize besser wahr, sind dadurch aber auch anfälliger für Irritationen.
In den meisten Kulturen, so die Psychologin Elaine Aron, hatten sensible Menschen ihren angestammten Platz, waren sie die eine von zwei Führungsklassen. In alten Zeiten waren sie Priester oder königliche Berater, während die anderen sich als Herrscher und Krieger hervortaten. Heute aber, so Aaron weiter, „erobern in den westlichen Kulturen die Nichtsensiblen immer mehr Terrain.“ In China etwa wird den Hochsensiblen Schülern höchste Achtung entgegengebracht, während sie in Kanada ganz unten in der Hierarchie der Schulklasse stehen.
Für das Verdrängen der Hochsensiblen bezahlt jede Gesellschaft früher oder später einen hohen Preis. Dinge und Stimmungen wahrnehmen zu können, die an anderen Menschen vorübergehen, kann eine enorme Bereicherung sein. Diese Fähigkeit bildet die Basis für Intuition, Kreativität, viele gute Ideen und einfühlsame Kommunikation. Andererseits hat solche Intensität auch ihre Nachteile: „Um sechs Uhr abends werde ich müde und brauche meine Ruhe“, sagt Aron. „Andere Menschen können dann weitermachen, aber ich muss mich zurückziehen, weil mein Gehirn viel mehr Anregungen verarbeitet hat.“

Meiner Meinung nach leben wir in der heutigen, modernen Zeit in einem Zeitalter der Worte, der Rhetorik und der Eloquenz. Umso besser man mit Worten umgehen kann, desto geschickter schlängelt man sich durchs Leben, desto einfacher fällt es einem sich vor Leuten zu rechtfertigen oder sich mit ihnen zu verstehen, aber auch sie auf die eigene Seite zu ziehen, sie zu manipulieren oder gar zu verletzen. Wir leben in einem Zeitalter der Politik, allerdings ist dieses vermutlich mehr Schein als Sein. Die Leute schätzen sich glücklich, dass sie so viele “Freiheiten” haben, und in einer “volkssouveränen” und “guten” Welt leben. Zumindest die meisten. Dabei ist der Großteil, von dem, in dem wir heute leben, nichts weiter als Manipulation von oben. Die Leute schauen Fernsehen, gucken Werbung, definieren sich über Mode und andere Konsumgüter und lassen sich diese Motive von der breiten Masse, der “Gesellschaft”, vorgeben, woraus resultiert, dass sich jeder einzelne Mensch sich immer mehr davon abhängig macht, was andere über ihn denken, und sich somit in seinem Handeln “von der Gesellschaft abhängig macht”. Was bringt einem Facebook, das Internet, dauerhafte Erreichbarkeit über Handys, Fernsehen, Computer spielen? Ist es wirklich, dass was wir wollen, über das wir uns frei und wohl fühlen, oder sind es nicht mehr als Produkte die uns großkapitalistische Unternehmer vor die Füße geworfen haben, um uns davon abhängig zu machen, und sie daraus finanziell profitieren können? In meinen Augen ist es nicht mehr als sinnlose Ablenkung und Abstumpfung des eigenen Geistes. 19/20 Menschen würden mir sagen, dass sie das machen, um mal abzuschalten, Spaß zu haben oder mal was anderes zu machen. Aber muss man wirklich abschalten, bzw. kann man nicht abschalten und dabei etwas produktives machen? Sich mit sich selbst beschäftigen, mal ein Buch lesen oder einfach nur im Sonnenschein auf der Terasse sitzen und einfach nur sein? Meiner Meinung nach sind es nichtsnützige Abhängigkeiten, die einem weder einen tieferen Sinn im Leben geben, noch einen in irgendeiner Form weiterentwickeln. Es ist Zeit, die man investiert, ohne überhaupt irgendeinen Nutzen jeglicher Art davonzutragen.
Das 0815-Leben der meisten Menschen, die unkritisch sind und sich treiben lassen, ist nicht mehr als ein Puppenspiel des Kapitalismus, der unsere Welt mehr und mehr zerstört. weil wenige, einelne Individuen kurzsichtig und Zukunftsunbewusst denken, mit der eigenen Gier und Gewinnmaximierung im Vordergrund. Unternehmer A ist zu einen Großteil für die Abholzung des Regenwalds verantwortlich, weil er daraus jede Menge Geld, Profit zieht, was im Prinzip auch nichts anderes ist als eine Währungsform, die die Menschen selbst erfunden haben, und vernichtet somit Natur, Leben und Klima. In 100 Jahren wird diese Person definitiv Tod sein. Was bringt es ihr also, dass sie in ihrem Leben so viel Geld hatte? Sie wird später keinen Nutzen mehr davon ziehen, die Welt an sich jedoch auf sehr, sehr lange Zeit gemeißelt, gebrandmarkt und vergewaltigt sein.
Alles ist von Geld abhängig, weil es in den Augen der meisten Menschen das ist, womit man am meisten erreichen kann, sich den größtmöglichen Luxus gönnen kann, und die größtmögliche Macht ausüben kann. Somit ist der Mensch in seinen Grundzügen egoistisch und gierig, vor allem wenn er die Möglichkeit besitzt, die oben aufgezählten Faktoren zu erreichen. Also wirkt sich das nicht nur auf die breite Masse aus, sondern vor allem auf politische und wirtschaftliche Drahtzieher, sogar auf die Medien. Alles von dem wir denken, dass es so ist, wie es wirklich ist, resultiert aus Informationen, die von oben durchgegeben werden, allerdings nicht aus Informationen, die uns von oben verschwiegen werden. Somit wissen wir nicht mal, was von dem, was uns gesagt wird, wirklich wahr ist, und wo der Autor/der Sprecher eigensinnige Ziele und Intentionen verfolgt, und somit die breite Masse gezielt nach seinen eigenen Wünschen und Ermessen manipuliert und in eine Richtung lenkt, in der er sie haben will.
Dies alles bestärkt mich in meinem Verlangen, stets ich selbst zu bleiben, mich von deterministischen Leitmotiven die uns die Gesellschaft vorgibt zu trennen, und stets unmanipuliert und frei zu bleiben.

Die Entgleisung des rationalen Verstands ist keineswegs naturgegeben, sondern das Ergebnis einer seit 25 Jahren andauernden Hysterisierung. Ein wesentliches Merkmal in Hysterien ist, daß in ihr die gleichgeschalteten Meinungen umso stärker und emotionaler vertreten werden, je weniger Fakten vorhanden sind. Denn gerade das Fehlen von Fakten bei faktenlos vorgebildeter Meinung spricht die dunkle Phantasie und somit das triebhafte Bauchgefühl des Menschen besonders an. Wenn die Begriffe »sexueller Mißbrauch« und »Kinderpornographie« in den Systemmedien fallen, dann springen prompt Millionen von Kinderporno-Kopfkinos an und ergehen sich in den wüstesten denkbaren Geschehen. Die Systemmedien bedienen dieses private Kopfkino, indem sie anstatt Fakten mit vorgetäuschter Sachlichkeit phantasieanregende Geschehnisse schildern und die Bewertung sublim steuern, ohne zu einer einzigen Lüge greifen zu müssen.
Die Medien steuern die Meinung, und müssen dabei nicht einmal zu einer Lüge greifen. Das ist so ungeheuerlich. So eine einfache Methode, und so effektiv. Kopfkinos, Hysterien, wiederholen, wiederholen, wiederholen.
Sind es nicht gerade die Horrorfilme, bei denen man das Monster nicht sieht, die am beängstigsten sind? Keine Angst ist grösser als die Angst vor dem Unbekannten. Kopfkinos, aber ja doch! Ich hätte früher drauf kommen können.

Today we are launching a campaign HeForShe. I am reaching out to you because we need your help. We must try to mobilize as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for change. We don’t just want to talk about it. We want to try and make sure it’s tangible. I was appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women 6 months ago.

Vorbemerkungen aus dem Buch «Indianerschulen» von Claus Biegert
Ich habe einen kleinen Freund, Tobias, er ist 13 Jahre alt, ein Grübler, Querdenker und Phantast. Langeweile kannte er nie. Schon früh spielte er Theater, malte Miniaturen und wandbreite Bilder und fertigte ohne Baupläne und Anleitungen historisch und ethnographisch getreue Schiffe, Häuser, Waffen, Kostüme. Selten verbringt er einen Nachmittag vor dem Fernseher. Das Leben von Tobias wäre ausgefüllt und glücklich, gäbe es die Schule nicht. Besser sein zu müssen als andere – das will ihm nicht in den Sinn, obwohl er seine Sache stets so gut wie nur möglich machen will. Das tägliche Einnehmen festgesetzter Wissensportionen in vorgeschriebener Eile stößt ebenso auf seinen Widerspruch wie der anschließende Tauschhandel von abgefragtem Wissen gegen Noten im Schiedsgericht der Prüfung. Diese Zwänge lassen ihn nachts nicht einschlafen und früh vor der Schultüre wieder umkehren. Daß die Mehrheit der Kinder seiner Stadt die Schule akzeptiert, irritiert ihn nicht. Dies ist nicht seine Schule. Seine Fragen findet er nicht beantwortet, die angebotene Information interessiert ihn selten. Er war bereits soweit, den Sinn des Lebens anzuzweifeln, falls sie – die Schule – der Sinn des Lebens sein sollte.
