Nein, das Dorf im Hintergrund ist nicht Balsthal; heute gab’s extrem Westwind, daher wurde in Balsthal keine Schulung durchgeführt. Wir nutzten die Gelegenheit, und begaben uns an einen Hang östlich von Aesch!

Und siehe da – der Wind war wirklich einfach genial! So konnte ich endlich mal das berüchtigte Rückwärtsaufziehen trainieren – mit Erfolg!

Der Wind prallt rechtwinklig an einen steilen Hang weiter vorne, was uns ziemlich Aufwind bescherte:

Jaaa! Für 10 Minuten lang schwebte ich etwa 100 Meter über dem Boden, getragen vom dynamischen Hangaufwind. Das nennt sich „Soaring“. Und das an einem Hang gleich um die Ecke…
