Google hat heute die Betaversion ihres eigenen Instant Messengers veröffentlicht.

Man kann damit chatten und telefonieren. Soweit ich das mal beurteilen kann ist das Ding nichts weiteres als eine Oberfläche für Gmail mit VoIP-Fähigkeiten.
Googles Chat-Software basiert auf dem Open-Source-Standard Jabber, was die Verbindung mit allen Messenger-Tools auf der gleichen Basis erlaubt. Momentan läuft „Google Talk“ erst auf Windows-Systemen. *bäh*
