Soo – 1:30 Uhr morgens. „Heute gehe ich um 2 Uhr ins Näscht, es muss ja nicht immer so spät werden wie gestern Abend bei der Diskussionsrunde mit Joscha.“ Nur noch ein wenig durchs nächtliche Gelände laufen, als Abschiedsrunde für diesen Tag und dann aufs Tram. Habe ich gedacht.
Aus der Glashalle kommt plötzlich etwas auf mich zugerollt. Es ist ein Boot auf Rädern.
„Longneck, longneck – steig ein!“ ruft jemand aus unserem Hackerspace, während sein Namensvetter das Boot mit seinen fünf Insassen von hinten anschiebt. ‚Ok, dieses Ereignis wird hier nur einmal passieren und dann nie wieder‘ denke ich mir. Egal wie müde ich bin – das kann ich mir nicht entgehenlassen! Und ich steige ein. „Wohin fahrt ihr?“ „Sieht es so aus, als ob wir einen Plan hätten?“ bekam ich zur Antwort. Wir werden auf Gutdünken durchs Gelände gefahren. Woah, so toll! Ich darf zuvorderst vorne Platz nehmen und werde gefahren. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wohin die Reise geht.
Erster Halt: Eine Cocktailbar in der Glashalle. Belustigt werden wir von den Bargästen bestaunt. Es ist ziemlich voll, wir kehren um und fahren zur Bar gleich daneben, der DDOS-Bar. „Einmal Mate für alle!“
Nach der Stärkung führt uns der Weg zur Halle 3 mit den vielen Assemblies. Dort blinkt es überall. Die Sea-watch.org-Assembly hat ihre Segel gehisst.
‚So muss es sich wohl anfühlen in einem Flüchtlingsboot‘ denke ich mir, als wir daran vorbeifahren. Etwas weiter vorne steht eine Grossrechneranlage wie aus Half-Life. Weltraumkontrollbodenstation. Wir kommen zum Zentrum, wo Satelliten die Sonnenstrahlen reflektieren und sich langsam rotieren. Wir in einem Raumschiff auf einer Abenteuer-Erkundungsreise!
Wir beenden die Runde durch die Halle an der Uptime-Bar. Der Motor ist erschöpft. „Ich übernehme!“
„Jaa, gut machst du das, Motor, wir lieben dich alle!“ ermuntert mich der Nerd gleich neben mir und hält ermutigend seine Hand auf meine Schulter. Wenig später hält er mir eine Mateflasche an den Mund, während ich mit beiden Händen das Boot antreibe. „Mmmmmhuoooh“ neige ich den Kopf nach oben, um zu signalisieren, dass er die Flasche wieder senken kann. Nicht ganz so einfach, nicht-freihändig Mate getränkt zu bekommen 😀
Wohin soll ich? Ich schiebe das Boot in die Logistik-Halle. „Einsteigen, einsteigen!“ ermuntert die Crew die danebenstehenden Zuschauer. Zwei Menschen steigen ein. Der Boden ist rutschig und ich laufe an Ort und Stelle, das Boot bewegt sich kaum. „Äääh!“
Motorwechsel. Wir fahren durch den inoffiziellen Durchgang von der Logistikhalle zur Discodrama-Halle, da wo die laute Musik läuft. Auf halber Höhe vernehmen wir ein Rollen von hinten. Ein Sicherheitsengel fährt mit seinem Trottinett direkt vors Boot und stellt es Quer. „Der Teil ist nicht gemietet. Wenn die Messe das sieht, dann gibt’s richtig richtig Ärger!“ sagt er in strengem Ton und auf seiner Weste schimmert „StGB §501 Paragraph Mimimi“ und „Sicherheit“. Ist ja gut, wir gehen ja schon weiter…
„Steig ein, steig ein!“ ermuntern wir eine Frau beim Durchgang zur Discodrama-Halle. „Nein, ich ääh, ich glaube nicht.“ antwortet sie zögerlich. „Das hier findet nur jetzt und nur einmal statt!“ rufe ich ihr zu. „Manchmal muss man Menschen einfach ziehen lassen.“ kommentiert eine Frau im Boot.
Ich habe mich ja ständig gefragt, wo denn die Fairydust ist. Die Rakete, die an jedem Kongress mit dabei ist. Letztes Jahr war sie mitten in der Glashalle, doch jetzt scheint sie nirgendwo auffindbar. Als wir im Discodrama durch den Durchgang fahren, eröffnet sich uns folgender Anblick:
Fairydust! Wundervoll beleuchtet und mit Videomapping verziert!
Die Menge raunt und jubelt uns zu. „Ein Boot!“ winken alle freudestrahlend. Es ist etwas voll hier. Wir fahren wieder raus aus der stoffverkleideten Fairydust-Raketenbasis und landen im grossen, leeren Teil in der Halle. Es ist wie ein schwarzer See. Ein junger Hacker mit Locken stellt sich vorne an der Spitze des Bootes hin und wippt im Stehen zur Musik. Wir fahren zur Mitte hin und da lässt unser Motor das Boot wild im Kreis drehen. „Wir sind in einem Struuudeeeeeell!“ Rechts von uns überquert ein Floss den See, es ist ein Palett mit Mateharassen. Links von uns dreht jemand mit dem Surfbrett seine Runden, es ist ein beleuchtetes Skateboard. Wir sind auf hoher See, es ist dunkel, aber vom Strand leuchtet uns ein Leuchtturm entgegen!
Wir wechseln uns immer wieder ab mit Motor-Spielen. Einer schiebt, die ganze Crew kann die Fahrt geniessen. Bis der Nächste dran ist. Was für ein Zusammenspiel. Dabei ermuntern wir natürlich immer wieder den Motor und schauen, dass es ihm gut geht.
Vielleicht steckt hinter dem ganzen ja eine tiefere Bedeutung?
Alleine würde ich ein leeres Boot anschieben, das wäre sinnlos. Zusammen als Team – es muss nur Einer anschieben, und schon haben sechs Menschen Freude. Wir haben keinen Plan, wir fahren einfach spontan durch die Gegend und entdecken immer wieder Neues. Als Passagier im Boot muss ich dabei nichts tun, sondern kann einfach nur dasitzen und geniessen. Es ist alles geführt. Ich bin wohlbehütet im Boot. Und trotzdem kriege ich das blinkende Gewusel und alles vom Kongress mit, weil wir überall hinfahren, wo wir noch nicht gewesen sind.
So oder so ähnlich könnte die philosophische Interpretation lauten, die jeder für sich selber daraus ableiten kann.
Wieder beim Eingangsbereich angekommen fährt uns ein zu grosser Staubsaugerroboter entgegen und darauf sitzt ein Mensch. Es ist Data, sie hatte den Lötworkshop für Kinder geleitet und jetzt fährt sie mit ihrem selbstgebauten Gefährt in den Hallen rum. „Ich steuere das mit meinem Smartphone. Wartet – “ erklärt sie uns, während sie etwas eintippt. „Ich kann den Motor auf Überstärke einstellen. So!“ und im nächsten Moment dreht sie sich wie wild auf diesem runden Gefährt um ihre eigene Achse. „Moooment. Kannst du vielleicht unser Boot anschieben? Ist das Ding stark genug?“
Vorsichtig fährt sie an die Hinterseite und dockt an. Zweidrei Tastendrücke später kommt unser Boot ins Rollen. „WOAAAH!“ Wir haben einen echten Motor, und niemand muss anschieben! Alle steigen ein und geniessen die Fahrt.
In der Halle 3 gibt es eine Waschanlage. Selbstverständlich fahren wir da durch. Noch etwas weiter vorne steht eine Rennbahn für all die selbstgebauten Gefährte.
Vorsichtig rein… „Rechts, rechts. Rechts! SCHARF RECHTS!“ Bumm, dagg. „Nicht so scharf Rechts!“ Wir fahren durch den Tunnel. „Weiter Links! Das andere Links!!“
„EEEEEeeeine Bootsfahrt die ist lustig, eine Bootsfahrt die ist schön, ja da kann man manche Leute an der Reeling kotzen sehn! Hollahiiii – Hollahoooo! Hollahia-hia-hia-holla-ho!“ Stimmt eine Frau ein Piratenlied ein und wir singen alle sofort mit. Und so drehen wir noch zwei drei Runden durch die Rennbahn.
Nein echt, wie geil! Bootsfahren am Kongress und Piratenlieder singen. Normalerweise passieren solche Sachen nur am Feuerfestival. Der ganze Kongress erinnert mich dieses Jahr aber sowieso eher an ein grosses Indoor-Camp. Es gibt so viele Installationen und Eigenkreationen in den Assemblies. Eine Jam-Session mit selbstgebauten Instrumenten. Workshop-Zelte. Aktionen. Begehbare Kunstwerke. Der Kongress und das Feuerfestival rücken immer näher zusammen.

OH MEIN GOTT. Das ist das Lied, welches sie am Feuerfest unter dem Sternenhimmel in der pechschwarzen Nacht angestimmt haben.

Das Universum ist gerade sehr sanft zu mir.
„Achtung Wasserf*hust* Wasserfall!“ Ich bin schon ganz heiser vom Mitgröhlen. Ein Wasserfall – vor uns führt eine Treppe in den Boden.
Wie lange soll ich da noch mitfahren? Dabei wollte ich doch heute früher ins Bett! Aberabermimimi, abernein. Mit so einer tollen Crew und so einer Szenerie, das koste ich voll aus!
Data, unser elektrischer Motor, fährt wieder weg und der junge Nerd vor mir an der Bootskante übernimmt wieder die Rolle des Motors. „Wir bringen euch Humankapital“ sagt er zum Engel, als wir beim Angel’s Desk im Himmel ankommen. „Kriege ich für die Bootsschicht Engelstunden gutgeschrieben?“ „Wie heisst du?“ „Mystical Spiral.“
Wir fahren wieder zurück zur Assemblyhalle und kommen beim Schweizer Assembly an. „So, wir booten euch ein.“ Der Hafen ist gleich bei der Kuppel da. Die Bootsfahrt ist zu Ende – direkt vor dem Schweizer Assembly, wo ich meine Schuhe und Jacke deponiert habe. Wie perfekt orchestriert!
Nein, so habe ich mir das Zurückschlendern hierhin nicht vorgestellt… Was für eine Abenteuerfahrt!
