Das Argument „Ich habe nichts zu verbergen, weil ich nichts zu befürchten habe“ ist etwa dasselbe wie „das Recht auf freie Meinungsäusserung ist mir egal, weil ich nichts zu sagen habe.“
Es ist ein asoziales Argument.
„Es ist mir egal, was mit dem Rest der Gesellschaft passiert. Es ist mir egal, was mit meinen Rechten passiert. Für den Moment bin ich ok, ich bin nicht anders, ich bin nicht interessant. Ich passe mich dem an, was immer der Rest der Welt von mir erwartet.“
Mit anderen Worten: Du bist ein langweiliger Schildbürger, und was du eigentlich sagst ist: „Ich will keine Freiheit.“
Wenn das für dich dein Weg ist, sei’s drum. Ich glaube, wir können besser sein als das. Wir können mehr tun, mehr sein und wir sollten es auch.
