David Nickles hatte schon am Boom 2014 einen brillianten Vortrag gehalten. Diesmal geht es darum, dass nun Unken (aka Firmen) aus ihren Löchern gekrochen kommen und versuchen, schamanische Substanzen und Rituale zu kommerzialisieren, Profit daraus zu schlagen und ein Monopol auf das „einzige authentische Ayahuasca-Ritual“ für sich zu beanspruchen. Ein Rant.

What does resistance look like?
„I think it doesn’t look like nice, well behaved marches through the streets of new york. I don’t think it looks like more signatures on various initiatives submitted to the government asking for change. I think we’ve seen that, that if we want to actually see change, we need to actually see direct action. That requires people getting off their ass, getting out and doing things that are frankly dangerous. If we’re actually serious about seeing a new world, that needs to be created, it’s not just gonna happen.“
