Anarchismus ist die Idee, dass alle zu kompletter Selbstbestimmung berechtigt sind. Kein Gesetz, keine Regierung und kein Entscheidungsverfahren sind wichtiger als die Bedürfnisse und Wünsche von menschlichen Wesen. Die Menschen sollten ihre Beziehungen frei nach gegenseitiger Zufriedenheit gestalten können, und für sich selbst einstehen, wann immer sie es für angebracht halten.

Anarchismus ist kein Dogma und keine Blaupause. Es ist kein System, das vermutlich funktionieren würde, wenn es nur richtig angewandt würde – wie die Demokratie – und kein Ziel, das in ferner Zukunft einmal realisiert werden könnte – wie der Kommunismus. Er ist eine Handlungsweise und eine Art, unsere Beziehungen zu gestalten, die wir sofort in die Praxis umsetzen können. In Bezug auf alle Wertsysteme und Handlungsweisen können wir mit folgender Frage anfangen: Wie verteilen sie Macht?
