Eine Diskussionsrunde mit Organisatoren des Boom Festivals, Orgas von anderen Festivals, und Musikern. Sie gehen der Frage nach, ob es am Boom nur um Hedonismus geht, oder ob daraus auch Aktivismus hervorgeht. Wir erfahren etwas über die Hintergründe des Booms und etwas über seine Geschichte.

Hedonismus: Freude, Vergnügen, Lust, Genuss, sinnliche Begierde

„Anarchist Psytrance“ – wie das Boom entsteht

Dieses Festival hat als „Anarchist Psytrance Festival“ begonnen. Und dann hat es sich langsam zu diesem ökologisch nachhaltigen Modell gemausert. Das war nicht von Anfang an so – wie kam es dazu? Wie entstand das Boom, wer macht es?

Es war keine Entscheidung, die wir getroffen hatten. Es passierte uns einfach. Wir machen das Boom nicht – das Boom passiert uns, passiert durch uns. Es ist wie eine Entität, und wir sind die Puppen, die von dieser Entität gesteuert werden. Sie kümmert sich um alles, übernimmt die Kontrolle und so kommt alles in eine sehr gute Stimmung. Es ist wie eine universelle Intelligenz, die alles im Hintergrund verwaltet.

Das kann ich nur unterstreichen! Mit allem, was am Boom so passiert, wie perfekt alles aufeinander abgestimmt ist, wie die Objekte und Gegenstände anfangen, Geschichten zu erzählen, wenn die Reise startet – und wie tiefgreifend und transformativ die Erfahrungen sind, die man dadurch erfährt – das kann gar nicht von Menschen alleine geplant und durchgeführt werden! Ich habe es selbst erfahren. Alles, was ich erlebt habe, hat sich nahtlos in meine Geschichte eingefügt und sich zu einer Initiation gegipfelt. Als Requisiten greift diese universelle Intelligenz zu allem, was da ist. Sei es eine kleine Weisheit als Kritzelei auf einer Komposttoilette, oder eine Künstlergruppe, die sich spontan verkleidet hat und etwas darstellt. Aus dem Blickwinkel der Akteure mögen ihre Aktionen und Darbietungen aussehen als „mein Beitrag zum Festival“, doch für den Betrachter, für den es bestimmt ist, sind dies die zusammenhängenden Ereignisse einer fortlaufenden Geschichte. Jedes noch so kleine Detail hat für jemand Bestimmtes eine Bedeutung.

Und wenn wir dann zu diesen Festivals gehen und all das Erleben, nehmen wir etwas davon in unser tägliches Leben mit. Mit all diesen Elementen an diesen Events, da ist jemand, der von Freunden mitgeschleift wurde. „Das musst du gesehen haben!“ Und dann – wow. Das Herz wird aufgebrochen, überwältigende Erfahrungen werden gemacht. Ihr Leben wird sich verändern in ein bewussteres, aktivistischeres Leben – selbst wenn sie nur Aktivist in ihrer eigenen menschlichen Erfahrung werden.

Hedonismus als Honigfalle

Der Hedonismus ist unser Vorteil, um die Leute zusammenzubringen. Diese Festivals sind ein Ausbrechen aus den Mustern. Wir leben in einem allumfassenden Kontrollsystem mit der grössten Gehirnwäsche und Kontrolle des Denkens. Es ist die grösste Kontrolle in der Geschichte der Menschheit über die unendlich vielen Freiheiten und Möglichkeiten, die Menschen haben. Und diese Festivals sind die beste Technologie, die wir haben, um aus diesen Mustern, dieser Konditionierung auszubrechen, sie zu erschüttern, sie zu zerschlagen, und diese neuen Ideen und Verbindungen einführen. Mit diesen Substanzen, mit dieser Musik, zusammen formt es ein Gebilde, nach dem sich unsere Seelen sehnen, so dass wir wachsen und das Beste aus ihm herausholen können.

Warum sind wir hier?

Die Musik, die Kunst, die schönen Dinge – all das zieht dich an. Es ist fast schon wie wenn wir die Leute austricksen, um hier was zu lernen. Wir bieten einen Platz für „hey, übrigens: hier lernst du das!“. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, diese Kultur zu verlagern in Richtung: Die Menschen suchen nach Wissen, wollen was lernen, fragen danach. Ist das Möglich? Oder sind wir bloss hier, um eine gute Zeit zu verbringen? Und ist „Lernen“ keine gute Zeit?

Ich glaube, wir sind nicht hier, um eine „gute Zeit“ zu verbringen. Die „gute Zeit“ ist die Honigfalle. Die Ablenkungen, die glitzernden und funkelnden Sachen. Nein – wir sind alle hier, weil wir FUCKED UP sind! Wir sind alle traumatisiert – du wirst nicht durch diese Tore schreiten, wenn du nicht eine Shitton of … wer hat ein Trauma, in diesem Raum? Verdammt nochmal, JEDER! Wir sind alle verwundet und zerstört durch die Welt dort draussen. Und das ist es, was dich hierherführt. Und es ist nicht die gute Zeit, es ist das Gefühl, verbunden zu sein, zu anderen Menschen. Wenn du auf dem Dancefloor bist, und diesen Puls spürst – das ist ein Gefühl von Verbindung. Du bist nicht mehr dieses isolierte, kleine Individuum, du bist Teil von etwas grösserem. Das ist, wonach wir streben. Wir sind hier, weil wir uns verlieben wollen. Wir wollen gesehen werden, wir wollen gehört werden, wir wollen die Gewissheit, dass wir etwas bedeuten, dass jemand uns sieht. Die gute Zeit ist quatsch, es geht darum, Menschen zu treffen, sich loslösen von all dem Scheiss; sieh, das ist mein Scheiss, das ist dein Scheiss, und ich kann damit umgehen, zusammen, und wir machen daraus die bestmögliche Transformation. Sieh, ich hab’s verkackt, du hast’s verkackt, ich liebe dich, lass uns gemeinsam durch den Morast schreiten.
