Es war schwierig, sich dieses Osterwochenende zu entscheiden, wohin man gehen soll. Die Demoscene trifft sich in Saarbrücken auf einer Demoparty. In Basel finden sich Hacker, Geeks und Nerds zum Easterhegg ein. Ein Zug fährt nach Hogwarts; Jediritter treffen sich auf Coruscant; und die Mitglieder der Mysterienschule B.O.T.A. treffen sich in Spanien, in der Nähe von Madrid, in El Escorial.

Bei so viel Überangebot an exzentrischen Anlässen entscheidet die Seltenheit, in der diese stattfinden. Demoparties gibt’s ein paar pro Jahr. Chaostreffs und Hackerkongresse weniger. Ein europäisches Treffen mit B.O.T.A.-Mitgliedern nur alle drei Jahre. Ich gehe nach Madrid.

Deren Lehren studiere ich nun schon fast zwei Jahre. Sah nie wirklich, wer dahinter steckt; geschweige denn andere Menschen, die dasselbe tun. Es ist an der Zeit, das herauszufinden.

Und ich wurde angenehm überrascht. Unter den geschätzt 180 Teilnehmern waren tatsächlich drei, vier Leute in meinem Alter vertreten. Und ich traf den Autor des Buches «Initiatenorden und Mysterienschulen» höchstpersönlich — wow! Hier sind ja wirklich alle Spezialisten versammelt.
Menschen aus allen Altersklassen, aus allen Berufsgruppen und aus allen Herren Ländern; aus Deutschland, Polen, Schottland, Kanada, Südafrika, Brasilien, USA… Das war weit mehr als bloss ein europäisches Treffen. Ich fand’s ganz toll, wieder mal mit der ganzen Welt an einem Tisch zu sitzen.

Ein Vortrag wird mir bald zeigen, warum man verrückt sein muss, wenn man da beitritt… Die Gründe, warum man das getan hat und wie man überhaupt auf B.O.T.A. gestossen ist: Recherche im Internet; ein guter Ruf von einem hohen Niveau an okkulter Ausbildung («The Tarot course is one of the best»); Gemunkel in Mailinglisten und Foren. Jemand war beigetreten, weil es ihm bei den Freimaurern zu langweilig wurde. Da bin ich ja am richtigen Ort.

Im Konferenzsaal stehen ein Tarot-Tableau, der Raumwürfel und der Lebensbaum; die Baupläne des Bewusstseins, offen da. Es spielt keine Rolle, ob man schon 20 Jahre dabei ist, oder erst seit 2 Monaten. Es wird alles gezeigt. Man muss keine 33° oder ähnliches durchschreiten, sondern kann überall an allen Workshops und Vorträgen teilnehmen. Weil: Man begreift es am Anfang ja sowieso noch nicht. Mir ging es bei einem Vortrag so:

«Your mind might not like it, but it will ripple in your subconsciousness…»

Zwei Stunden prallvoll gefüllt mit neuen Erkenntnissen, Zusammenhängen und Berechnungen am Raumwürfel, und das in einer rasanten Geschwindigkeit übermittelt. Mindfuck.

Wer oder was ist B.O.T.A.?

Wir sind eine Rätselcommunity.
Das wurde mir nach diesem Treffen klar.

Auf der Suche nach der Frage nach dem Leben, dem Universum und dem ganzen Rest dachte ich; hier werde ich Antworten erhalten. Jein. Hier werden mir Geheimnisse gegeben, die ich selber ergründen muss. Wie würde denn auch eine Antwort aussehen, die sechsdimensional ist, sich über vier Welten und unendlich viele Paralleluniversen erstreckt, vom Anfang der Schöpfung bis zum Ende, welches es beides nicht gibt? Der Einfachheit halber haben wir für diese Antwort einen Platzhalter gefunden, nämlich 42. Der Rest muss selber ergründet werden und kann nur individuell erfahren werden.

Es existiert ein Wissen, welches der profanen Welt verborgen ist. Oder absichtlich verschleiert wurde, weil Hexenverbrennung und so…
Ein Wissen, welches sich Menschen im geheimen angeeignet haben – und auch erweiterten. Dieses Wissen hat viele Quellen und Autoren; die meisten blieben anonym oder veröffentlichten ihre Beiträge unter einem Pseudonym. Aus all dem angesammelten Wissen haben verschiedene Gemeinschaften einen Lehrplan entwickelt, damit sich andere Leute dieses Wissen Schritt für Schritt aneignen können. Diese Gemeinschaften sind die Mysterienschulen. Eine dieser Mysterienschulen ist der Orden der Erbauer des Adytums (Builders of the Adytum, B.O.T.A.). Das Lehrsystem von B.O.T.A. basiert auf der westlichen kabbalistisch-hermetischen Tradition.

Die besondere Stärke dieses Systems liegt in seinem Gebrauch von Symbolen, die das Unterbewusstsein – ungeachtet jeder Sprachbarriere – mit ihrer bildhaften Weisheit direkt ansprechen.

Das tolle daran: Man muss weder an Gruppenarbeiten, noch an Ritualen oder Initiationen teilnehmen. Man kann zuhause lernen; es steht alles den Lektionen, die monatlich verschickt werden. 4 Stück – also eine Lektion pro Woche.

Der Lehrplan ist fett. Es dauert seeehr lange, bis man alle Lektionen durch hat! 🙂
Es geht gleich los mit «7 Schritte in praktischem Okkultismus». Reality Hacking; wie erschaffe ich meine Welt? Danach, in den darauf folgenden Kursen wird der Tarot behandelt; eine Sammlung von Bildern, die gewisse Gesetzmässigkeiten darstellen und die Veränderungen (sprich: Verbesserungen, Verfeinerungen) der Persönlichkeit und der Wahrnehmung bewirken. Über diese spezielle Bildersammlung habe ich schon mal geschrieben. Weiter geht’s mit Kursen über den Baum des Lebens, Alchemie, Astrologie und viele weitere Dinge.

Yeah! Endlich mal Gleichgesinnte! Es gibt noch andere, die das auch tun. Da bin ich nicht alleine. Es tut gut, das auch mal zu SEHEN.
Und wer hätte das gedacht, es gibt sogar eine inoffizielle Mailingliste, wo sich B.O.T.A.-Schüler und interessierte über die Lektionen austauschen.

Es ist wie als ob all diese Sachen verboten wurden, und ein paar Leute im geheimen daran forschen.
