Wir denken in Bildern. Bevor wir etwas sagen, muss ein Bild im Kopf existieren.
Bilder sind ein Weg, um mit dem Unterbewusstsein zu kommunizieren. Und es kommuniziert auch mit uns – in Bildern. Träume sind ein Beispiel dafür.
Nehmen wir an, ein Chinese, ein Franzose und ein Amerikaner schauen sich gemeinsam ein Bild eines Baumes an. Obwohl sie sich untereinander nicht verstehen, wissen alle, was mit dem Bild gemeint ist, und die unterbewussten Reaktionen sind bei allen gleich.
Jede bildliche Darstellung hat ihre unterbewussten Reaktionen. Selbst, wenn der Betrachter den Sinn eines Bildes nicht direkt kennt, das Unterbewusstsein wird zwangsläufig reagieren und kennt den Sinn.
Vor ungefähr 700 Jahren trafen sich Mitglieder der Inneren Schule in Fez, Marokko, um dort ein System auszuarbeiten. Ein System, mit dem man die Kontrolle über das Unterbewusstsein mit Bildern erlangen kann.
Sie entdeckten, dass sich alle Zustände des Bewusstseins und alle Kräfte der Persönlichkeit in 22 Hauptklassen einteilen lassen. Durch langes experimentieren und überprüfen der Daten konnten sie erkennen, welche Kombinationen bildlicher Darstellungen diese 22 Kräfte aktivieren. Sie unterbreiteten einigen Künstlern unter ihnen ihre Entdeckungen, und diese entwarfen daraus 22 Bilder.
Diese Bilder wurden als Kartenspiel getarnt, damit man sie in der Öffentlichkeit benutzen konnte, ohne einen Verdacht auszulösen. Schon damals wurden die Leute, die sich eines geheimen Wissens bedienen und andere Glaubensrichtungen haben, verfolgt und belächelt.
Ein Set Karten mit Bildern – ein Rad mit 22 Stufen des Bewusstseins. Sie tauften es ROTA (lat. Rad). Nun, das wäre ja zu offensichtlich. Etwas mehr Tarnung bitteschön! Sie stellten die Buchstaben um: TARO, und fügten das T am Schluss als Täuschung hinzu: TAROT.
