Am Donnerstag und Freitag erneut sehr stürmisch

Ein Sturmtief, das von den Britischen
Inseln nach Skandinavien zieht,
bringt am Donnerstag und Freitag West-
und Mitteleuropa erneut sehr
stürmisches Wetter. Im Schweizer
Mittelland muss mit Sturmspitzen um
100 km/h gerechnet werden, auf den
Jurahöhen und auf den Gipfeln sind
Orkanböen bis 170 km/h zu erwarten.

WETTERLAGE:
Von den Britischen Inseln bis nach Skandinavien
erstreckt sich ein umfangreiches Tiefdrucksystem.
An dessen Südostflanke wird es erneut sehr
stürmisch. In den Beneluxstaaten und im Norden
Deutschlands stellt sich bereits morgen (Mittwoch)
starker Sturm ein. Am Donnerstag zieht ein kleines
Teiltief von den Britischen Inseln nach
Südschweden. Es sorgt auch in Frankreich,
Süddeutschland und auf der Alpennordseite für
stürmische Verhältnisse. Erst im Laufe des
Freitags sorgt ein Zwischenhoch für eine
vorübergehende Wetterberuhigung.

PROGNOSE:
WIND:
Bereits in der Nacht auf Donnerstag wird es in der
Schweiz stürmisch. Auf den Jurahöhen, aber auch
auf den Höhenzügen des Mittellandes muss mit
ersten Orkanböen gerechnet werden. Die Windspitzen
dürften in der zweiten Nachthälfte bei rund 110
bis 130 km/h liegen. Im Mittelland erreichen die
Sturmspitzen zunächst nur Höchstwerte zwischen 50
und 70 km/h. In der zweiten Tageshälfte verstärkt
sich der Sturm weiter. Von Donnerstagmittag bis
Freitagmorgen muss auf den Jurahöhen und auf den
Gipfeln der Voralpen mit einzelnen Böen mit
Geschwindigkeiten bis 170 km/h gerechnet werden.
Auf den Höhenzügen des Mittellandes, wie
Lindenberg, Lägern, Üetliberg oder Hörnli dürften
die Höchstwerte bei rund 140 km/h liegen, und auch
im Mittelland dürfte vereinzelt der Wert von 100
km/h übertroffen werden. Dabei ist speziell am
Jurasüdfuss, in der Nordwestschweiz sowie vom
Zürcher Unterland bis an den Bodensee mit
Böenspitzen von teilweise über 100 km/h zu rechnen.

NIEDERSCHLAG:
Bis Donnerstag bleiben die Niederschlagsmengen
bescheiden. Erst in der Nacht zum Freitag und am
Freitag fällt verbreitet Regen. Der Schwerpunkt
des Niederschlages ist zurzeit noch schwierig zu
lokalisieren und ist stark von der effektiven
Anströmungsrichtung der Luftmasse am Freitag
abhängig. So oder so bleibt es aber auch in der
zweiten Wochenhälfte mild. Die Schneefallgrenze
liegt am Donnerstag in der Früh bei rund 1200
Metern, dann steigt sie aber deutlich an und
bewegt sich in der Regel zwischen 1500 und 2000
Metern.
Weitere Entwicklung:
Im Laufe des Freitags dehnt sich von der
Iberischen Halbinsel allmählich eine Zwischenhoch
zu den Alpen aus. Es sorgt bereits am Samstag für
eine Wetterberuhigung. Am Sonntag erreichen uns
bereits die nächsten Fronten. Allerdings sind die
Windspitzen bescheidener, dafür wird es deutlich
kühler und Schnee fällt am Sonntagabend
wahrscheinlich auch unter 1000 Meter Meereshöhe.
