Draussen tobt es. Sturm und Regen sind angesagt. Es dauerte auch nicht lange, bis mein Pager piepste… Unser Dönerlädeli und diverse andere Locations in Aesch sind vom Wasser heimgesucht worden. Und es geht weiter – möglicherweise noch die ganze Nacht!

Heftige Gewitter

Am Sonntagabend und in der Nacht auf
Montag zum Teil heftige Gewitter.

WETTERLAGE:
Ein Tiefdruckgebiet hat sich über Frankreich
formiert und zieht Richtung Benelux. Aus Südwesten
strömt feuchte und sehr labile Gewitterluft in die
Schweiz.

BETROFFENE REGIONEN:
Eine genaue Lokalisierung der stärksten Gewitter
ist sehr schwierig. Zunächst dürften vorerst die
Walliser Alpen, die Westschweiz, sowie das Berner
Oberland, Emmental und Entlebuch betroffen sein,
zum Teil auch der Jura. Die Zugrichtung ist von
Südsüdwest nach Nordost. Auch das Tessin erhält
starke Gewitter, die während der Nacht auch nach
Graubünden ziehen.
Im Flachland ist es gegen Sonntagabend zuerst das
westliche Mittelland, das von den Gewittern
betroffen ist. In den Abendstunden und ersten
Nachthälfte ziehen die Gewittern dann auch in die
Zentral- und Ostschweiz.

AUSWIRKUNGEN:
Die Gewitter bringen lokal ergiebigen
Niederschlag, innerhalb von 10 Minuten können bis
zu 15 Liter pro Quadratmeter herunterkommen.
Verbunden damit sind Sturmböen mit bis zu 90 oder
sogar 100 km/h, vielerorts ist auch Hagel dabei.
