Schon fast ein Jahr lang existiert das Scratchbook nun. Vieles hat sich seither verändert, vieles ist dazugekommen. Nur etwas ist immer gleichgeblieben: Das Banner.

Ich bin gerade ein bisschen am ausprobieren und mir überlegen, was denn cool wäre für ein Banner. Zugegeben, das alte hat mir auch gefallen; Zeit, Datum, Statistiken und IP-Adresse in einem Tagebuch eingebettet trifft man wirklich nicht überall an. Es erfüllt seinen Zweck. Aber auf Dauer halt doch irgendwie etwas monoton…

Ein Banner, das sich der Tageszeit anpasst fand ich schon immer cool, somit ist auch immer gleich die Stimmung vorhanden. Aber ich müsste da eine Webcam bei mir installieren, und die müsste permanent eingeschaltet sein.
Da bietet sich die Switch-Cam gerade an. Für die nächste Zeit wird also die Silhouette von Zürich mein Weblog zieren. Nur, das Bild ist noch etwas zu hoch, das nimmt schon arg viel Platz weg. Mal überlegen, vielleicht blende ich auch nur die obere Hälfte ein, PHP lässt mir da genug Spielraum.

Oder eine Collage mit den letzten zehn Snapshots zufällig auf dem Banner verteilt wäre natürlich auch was…
Man könnte das Ganze auch kombinieren, also eine zufällige Auswahl aller drei Möglichkeiten. Doch dann könnte es etwas unruhig werden.

Ich probier in den nächsten Tagen mal die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten durch und schau mal wie es sich bewährt. Ich hab ja jetzt endlich Ferien. 🙂
