Kürzlich hat die UNO eine weltweite Umfrage durchgeführt. Die Frage war: „Geben Sie uns bitte Ihre ehrliche Meinung zur Lösung der Nahrungsknappheit im Rest der Welt.“

Die Umfrage stellte sich, nicht ganz unerwartet, als unbrauchbar heraus, denn:
– In Afrika wussten leider nicht alle Teilnehmer, was „Nahrung“ ist
– in Osteuropa wusste man nicht, was „ehrlich“ heisst
– Ex-Jugoslawien verlangte eine Erklärung für „geben“
– Westeuropa kannte das Wort „Knappheit“ nicht
– die Chinesen wussten nicht, was „Meinung“ ist
– der Nahe Osten fragte nach, was denn „Lösung“ bedeute
– Südamerika kannte die Bedeutung von „Bitte“ nicht
– und in den USA wusste niemand, was „der Rest der Welt“ ist…
