Wenn es dunkel wird…

Nachtstimmung, frisch aus Sin City, tummelt sich seit geraumer Zeit als DVD-Rip auf meiner HD. Der Film ist filmtechnisch erste Sahne – Kameraperspektiven, Details, Dramaturgie wurden sehr gut umgesetzt. Der Film ist grundsätzlich schwarz-weiss, doch gewisse Dinge werden farblich hervorgehoben. Manchmal wird auch nur die Silhouette der Charaktere gezeigt, wie im oberen Bild – genial!

Es ist beinahe unmöglich, dass jemand stirbt; selbst ein abgetrennter Kopf redet seelenruhig weiter, als ob nichts gewesen wäre. Das tönt jetzt brutal, doch durch das Sin City sehr stark comicmässig orientiert ist, entschärft sich das wieder; Logik und Realität sind weit weit weg…

Eine Stimme im Hintergrund des jeweiligen Aktors, die die Gedanken vorliest, lässt starke Ähnlichkeiten mit Max Payne aufkommen. Vermutlich liess sich der Regisseur auch davon inspirieren.

Die Geschichte ist… Naja, hat der Film überhaupt eine? Also mir ist nichts aufgefallen… Es dreht sich hauptsächlich um Rache und Gemetzel.
