In Indien sind in Katastrophengebieten streunende Hunde über Leichen hergefallen und verbreiten Angst unter den Überlebenden. Dutzende von Hunden hätten bereits Dorfbewohner angegriffen, berichtete die indische Zeitung «Hindustan». Die bis zur Flutkatastrophe zahmen Haustiere oder Strassenköter hätten nach dem Verzehr von verwesendem Menschenfleisch ihre Zuneigung oder Furcht vor Menschen verloren.
