Der erste Teil des Vortrags behandelt das Tötungsprogramm der CIA und soll belegen, dass so etwas existiert, entgegen offiziellen Mitteilungen. Tragisch, keine Frage.
Und dann kommt der zweite Teil.

Glückwunsch Köbi. So eine Panikmache hast du bereits vor einem Jahr geboten. Selbstverständlich hat er die Leaks und Folien so zusammengestellt, dass sein Tor und OTR natürlich gewinnt. Doch wer sagt mir, dass da nicht auch Folien in Snowdens Dokumentenschatztruhe sind, wo Tor verliert? Wir sind mal wieder abhängig von einigen wenigen Journalisten; und sie können sich das Material frei zusammenstellen, was sie veröffentlichen. Ich finde diese Situation unerträglich. „This information belongs to the public“, hat Snowden selber gesagt.
Die Glaubwürdigkeit von Jacob
Jacob Appelbaum ist schon länger nicht mehr glaubwürdig. Ich sag euch gleich warum. Guckt mal nach, welchen Mailserver seine Domain appelbaum.net benutzt. Na? Ich hab nachgesehen, und das Ergebnis auf A4 an diversen Säulen am Congress aufgehängt:
Google Mail! Ja. Google. Köbi benutzt Google. Der Köbi, der die Folien veröffentlicht, dass die NSA sich schon lange bei Google eingenistet hat. Der Köbi, der weiss, dass [die Amis] Leute töten anhand von Metadaten. Derselbe Köbi hostet seine E-Mails bei Google.

JA GENAU! Er will, dass die NSA zuerst die Anwälte bei Google überwinden muss, um an seine Daten zu kommen. Diesselbe NSA, die alle Firmen dazu *zwingt*, ihre Infrastruktur zu verwanzen. Das ist also ein lächerliches Bogus-Argument.

Seltsam auch: Ich habe Jacob nirgendswo am Congress angetroffen. Er müsste doch zumindest beim amerikanischen Noisebridge-Assembly oder bei der Berliner C-Base sein Hauptquartier haben. Da war er nie zu sehen. Doch plötzlich steht der Mann auf der Bühne -- und ist genau so schnell auch wieder verschwunden. Richard Stallman hat mit den Leuten in der Tea-Lounge gequatscht, doch Jacob hat sich nie unter die Leute gemischt. Wovor hat er bloss Angst? Um Hinweise aus der Bevölkerung, die mir das Gegenteil beweisen, wäre ich froh…
Citizenfour als Torrent?
Auch seltsam, dass der Film „Citizenfour“ von Laura Poitras noch nirgendwo als Torrent aufgetaucht ist. Er wurde am ersten Abend im Saal1 gezeigt, doch der Stream blieb aus. Auf meinen Hinweis hin, „sind wir Hacker oder sind wir keine Hacker?!; sendet es trotzdem!“ erwiderten die Leute vom C3Streaming nur: „Wir respektieren den Wunsch des „Sprechers“, den Film nicht zu streamen.“ Banausen. Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich eine Piratenkamera mitgenommen und den ganzen Film abgefilmt.
Caleb hat dann am Ende des Films ins Zuschauermikrofon gefragt, ob er für 100$ eine „Piracy-Permission“ bekommt. Laura: „No comment.“
Videointerview mit Edward Snowden am 31c3?
Seltsam ist auch folgendes: Warum gab es kein Videointerview mit Edward Snowden? Er hat an fast jeder grossen Hackerkonferenz gesprochen. Doch ausgerechnet am Jahrestreffen des Chaos Computer Clubs, wo Edward Snowden Ehrenmitglied ist; an der grössten Hackerveranstaltung in Europa -- ausgerechnet da hält er keine Rede? Hier stimmt doch etwas nicht!
