Die Elite gebietet, seht sie Euch an, sie genießt es
Unser Geld einzuschieben, ohne dass sie’s verdient hätt‘
Dank ihrem Gewaltmonopol hat sie sich da oben festgesetzt
Und saugt das Volk da unten aus, bis auf den letzten Rest
Und das Volk toleriert das
Bis es schließlich völlig ausgeblutet, nichts mehr zu verlieren hat
Und bereit ist, diese arroganten skrupellosen Sonnenkönige da oben
Endlich vom Thron zu holen
Und die Ideologen mit ihren Parolen
Von Freiheit und Gerechtigkeit bedienen die Emotionen
Und wenn sie es dann schaffen, sich gut genug zu bewaffnen
Dann explodiert der Hass im Aufstand der Massen
Boom – Revolution, die alten Herrscher entthront
Doch hat sich der blutige Sieg am Ende gelohnt?
Erreicht ist nur eine Verschiebung des Gewaltmonopols
Eine neue Elite gebietet: die Ideologen
Keine Revolution, sondern Evolution
Eine kurze Eskalation, was ändert das schon?
Alles dreht sich um die nächste Generation

Manchmal ist Revolution ein Schritt zur Evolution

Ein Schritt nach vorn definitiv, vom Königreich zur Republik
So dass es seitdem im Prinzip, so was wie Menschenrechte gibt
Unsre Demokratie gäbe es nie
Ohne Revolten, Blutvergießen, Tränen und Krieg
Mittlerweile etabliert und doch ständig gefährdet
Nicht dass sie wer killt, sondern lebendig beerdigt
Man gibt mit seiner Stimme den Politikern Macht
Und die machen mit der Macht, was man mit Macht halt so macht
Jeder weiß was gemeint ist, die Machenschaften der Macht
Sind jedem bekannt, weil ́s im täglichen Leben jeder so macht
Wer sich ein schnelles Urteil erlaubt
Hat die eigenen Schwächen im Keller unten verstaut
Bist Du mit Dir im Reinen, hast Du das Bedürfnis verloren
Anderen Vorwürfe zu machen und bist einen Schritt weiter vorn
Keine Revolution, sondern Evolution

Es ist ein innerer Prozess nach meiner Definition
Wir wollen vor und nicht zurück: Evolution
Solange fremde Glaubenssätze uns lenken
Sind wir nicht in der Lage, selbstständig zu denken
Sind wir weiterhin Sklaven unserer Automatismen
Wovon der Schlimmste ist, zu meinen, ständig werten zu müssen
Man muss den Standpunkt ändern, um die Perspektive zu wechseln
Die Wahrheit ist nicht absolut, sie hat viele Aspekte
Solang wir es nicht schaffen, dass im Hirn umzusetzen
Basieren Denken und Handeln auf konditionierten Reflexen
Wozu das führt, kann man sehn
Es ist Zeit, das Problem endlich anzugehen!
Die Welt verändern zu wollen, führt nur zu Krieg mit der Welt
Die einzige Welt, die sich ändern lässt, ist die in Dir selbst
Andern seine Ansicht drücken: Revolution
Durch seine Lebensweise auf sie wirken: Evolution
Schuldige suchen und köpfen: Revolution
Aus seinen Möglichkeiten schöpfen: Evolution
